My upgrade is complete. I guess I should have been savoring them like you. Ah, well…. Now I must move on to Torchwood online.

My friend who upgraded ME says that Torchwood is terrible. I thought the first episode was OK, but the second one looked so silly and awful that I skipped it and started cherrypicking the episodes with high ratings on the IMDB. The second one I watched, Out of Time, is pretty good so far.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0485301/episodes
The word is that Torchwood is confusing “adult” (mature and complex) with “adult” (boobies, drugs, bisexuality). Bad scenes from one silly-looking Torchwood episode really did look like something a 13-year-old would write in an attempt to write about adult pansexuality.
It’s a SNOW DAY here in Asheville, school is out! I very much plan a marathon Doctor Who Day and will probably watch at least the last two episodes of Season 2, which I hear are excellent.
I’d have to say these are my favorite episodes so far:
Dalek
The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances
School Reunion
Rise of the Cybermen/Age of Steel
The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit
Satan Pit/Impossible Planet is probably my all-time favorite, mostly because of the Doctor hugging the captain (hilarious) and Rose snapping everyone out of their fear and saving the day. I will miss Billie Piper.
I was happy to upgrade you, Erik, and in fact was very much trolling for you in particular.
